Built upon the need to process the human experience and sound great doing it, Chicago-based pop-rock band Jacks and Atoms has been crafting their brand of dynamic introspection since their formation in 2014. Vocalist Daven Masulis' reflective and relatable lyrics lead the way, delivered with a passionate presence atop his illustrious guitars and rich synths, with support from a potent rhythm section powered by bassist/drummer Dan Orlowski.

After releasing their 2016 indie-folk debut, "Over the Mountain", the duo spent the next few years growing both as people and players, cutting their teeth on weekly multi-hour gigs around Chicagoland and the Midwest before returning to work on more original music at the start of 2019. What followed was a flood of new ideas inspired by the growth and experience of years prior, beginning with the 2020 release of the sprightly single "Don't Hide Away." Songs like the pensive dance-rocker "I Get Lost" and prolific pop-rock anthem "What I Know" weren't far behind, filling out a repertoire that would garner critical acclaim in Chicago's Daily Herald news outlet and various local blogs and podcasts.

As buzz around them grew, bigger crowds began to flock to their electrfying live shows looking to share in the energy and excitement the band brings to the stage. Jacks and Atoms strives to make the audience an integral part of every performance, and seamlessly weaves moments of sensitivity and vulnerability between more raucous antics, like leading lyrical chants and jumping offstage to jam with the crowd. The band won 2021's Road to Homegrown battle to secure a spot on that years Homegrown Music and Arts Fest in Lisle, IL before returning the following year as a headliner on the same festival. They also kicked off their 2023 schedule with a sold-out show at renowned Chicago venue Subterranean.

Now back in the studio with more passion and purpose than ever before, Jacks and Atoms is poised to become the pride of the Midwest music scene and a staple of pop and pop-rock playlists nationwide. Their energy knows no bounds, their creativity knows no limits, and their drive has no brakes.
